Matthew Thrasher is the founder of Thrasher Advisors. His work sits at the intersection of commercial real estate, capital, and the law, and has for the better part of two decades.

He started his career as a transactional attorney, building a multi-office law firm that advised entrepreneurs, developers, finance professionals, and family offices on real estate, securities, fund structuring, and corporate governance.

Over time, he moved from the legal seat to the operating seat. Most recently, he served as President of Iridius Capital, a real estate investment and development firm with a multi-billion dollar portfolio across multifamily, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use assets.

Matt’s unique combination of lawyer and operator shapes how he approaches client work today. He brings the discipline of someone trained to read documents carefully and structure for long-term consequences, paired with the urgency of someone who has run a business with real capital on the line.
